Representing Your Voice


A short video about BAWSCA and the results it has delivered during its first 15 years for the 1.8 million residents and over 40,000 businesses in Alameda, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties whose water interests it represents under California state law.

Annual Survey

For FY 2021-22, total water demand in the BAWSCA service area from all sources was 193.38 million gallons per day (mgd). Average residential per capita water use was 60.3 gallons per capita per day.

BAWSCA provides regional water supply planning, resource development, and conservation program services for 26 cities, water districts, and private utilities in San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Alameda County.

 

Our member agencies provide water service to 1.8 million residents and over 40,000 commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts.
